This celebration commemorates all those who have served in the American armed forces. Two retired USAF pilots, Ron Alexander and Jon Goldenbaum, started this event almost 20 years ago because they were deeply saddened by the way veterans were treated when they returned home from Vietnam. Wanting to make a positive impact, they decided to do something to give thanks and appreciation to those who served our country.
Since then, the Flabob Veterans Day Celebration has become an iconic event for the airport and the community. Flabob is excited to collaborate once again with City of Jurupa Valley to host a Parade & Festival in honor of our veterans. Without them, we would have nothing to celebrate.
Thank you!
